Developing your personal emergency plan

Do you know what you and your family will do if directly or indirectly impacted by a disaster?

Every household should have a written emergency plan.  Australian Red Cross has developed the Emergency REDIPLAN that provides a template for a household plan.

Having a plan is the first step but you must practise your emergency plan at least annually.  This will assist in reducing stress level and panic and ensure that you and your family understand their roles should a disaster be eminent.
