Council has received the final report on the Community Resilience Project that was funded via the Commonwealth Government's Natural Disaster Resilience Grant Program.

The report contains a series of recommendations and Council has referred these to its Emergency Management Committee for consideration and advice.

The project has been successful in achieving its aim of increasing community resilience to the impacts of and recovery from disasters however this is the first step in the endeavours to have a resilient Kingborough community.
